Coppertone
Dining Nook

Tiny spaces have the potential for huge impact.

When designing small dining corners, I aim for four main things: plenty of texture, large round tables, slim dining chairs and comfortable upholstery that invites people to stay awhile.

Texture makes your space feel layered and lived in, doing the heavy lifting when square footage can’t. Large round tables soften tight spaces, encourage conversation, and make small nooks feel intentional instead of squeezed. Slim chairs tuck in cleanly, move easily, and let the table (not the furniture clutter) do the talking. Comfortable, upholstered seating encourages people to stay for one more cup of coffee, one more story, or one more minute.
