heirloom filled remodel

The standout feature in this transitional dining room is the beautifully refurbished 1970s hutch, which has been given new life while maintaining its original character. It serves as both a functional storage piece and a sentimental display, showcasing the client's grandmother's 100+ year-old china—an heirloom that adds a rich sense of history and nostalgia to the space.

The traditional dining table is adorned with a neutral tablecloth, tasseled edges adding a touch of texture. Black spindle-back chairs provide a striking contrast, balancing old-world charm with contemporary sophistication.

Golden ochre velvet drapes bring a sense of luxury and warmth, complementing the rich wood tones of the hutch and the soft hues of the vintage-style area rug. The light fixture above the table is modern and airy, keeping the space feeling fresh and updated.

This design masterfully combines vintage and contemporary aesthetics, preserving the charm of the past while making the space feel stylish and timeless.
